The last regular season Red Sox/Yankees Alert is on as the Yankees start a three game series in Boston tonight. The Sox are 5.5 games ahead of the Yankees in the AL East with two weeks left in the season and a sweep by New York would give them a great shot at overtaking the Sox in the division. As it stands now, both teams look to be in the playoffs, with the Yanks 3.5 games ahead of Detroit for the wildcard.
What's it all mean? They'll be lots of drunks in the streets tonight. Be alert.

I just have a feeling that the Sox and Yanks are on a collision course in the playoffs this year.
