You may have seen these “Wanted” posters in various shops on the UES. They’re aimed at tracking down the guy who’s robbed UES businesses – at Second and 87th, Third and 62nd, and Second and 76th -- at gunpoint in late Sept. and earlier this month.

The thug first struck at 9:50 p.m. on Sept. 22 when he walked into The Pottery Store on Second Avenue near East 87th Street, pulled out a gun and demanded cash. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money, cops said. Four days later, he knocked over the Really Cool Food Store on Third Avenue at East 62nd Street at 7:55 p.m., police said. In that case, he threatened a shopworker with a gun and also fled with cash, authorities said. The latest robbery, at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 3), was at the Equinox Cleaners on Second Avenue near East 76th Street. Again he pulled out a pistol and made off with cash. The thief was described as a white man between 30 and 35 years old, about 5-foot-7 and wearing a beige fishing cap and glasses during the heists.
